WHY IT MATTERS
Why most people never treat their nail fungus — and why that changes today
• Many people with onychomycosis delay professional treatment. The reasons are familiar: embarrassment, the hassle of in-person visits, cost concerns, or simply not knowing where to start.
• Fugly Toenails™ helps reduce common barriers to care. Our telemedicine model allows a Florida-licensed podiatric provider within JAWS Podiatry to evaluate your case privately, at your convenience, and recommend an appropriate treatment path when clinically indicated — without the waiting room.
COMMON
Many patients delay care
WIDESPREAD
Nail fungus is a common adult condition
LONG-TERM
Often left untreated for months

OUR CLINICAL APPROACH
Pulse Therapy: Smarter treatment, not more aggressive
Our providers may consider a Pulse Therapy protocol for eligible patients after clinical review. Pulse Therapy is an intermittent oral antifungal dosing approach with planned rest periods. The specific medication, dosing schedule, duration, and monitoring are determined by the provider based on each patient’s condition and medical history.
SAFETY
Lower cumulative medication exposure, when clinically appropriate
RESULTS
Treatment plan tailored after provider review
ADHERENCE
Built-in breaks that may support consistency
Pulse Therapy is prescribed only when clinically appropriate, at the provider’s discretion, based on individual case evaluation and medical eligibility.

REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS
What to expect — and when
Toenail improvement can take time because nails grow slowly. Timelines and visible changes vary by patient, condition, treatment approach, adherence, and provider guidance.
Week 1–2
Getting Started
You submit your profile and required information. A provider reviews your case and determines whether treatment is clinically appropriate. If prescription treatment is approved, fulfillment details are provided through an authorized dispensing pharmacy, as applicable.
Foundation
Month 1–2
Active Care
If treatment is prescribed, use it only as directed by your provider. Some patients may notice gradual changes over time, but early visible improvement is not guaranteed.
Progress
Month 3–4
Ongoing Review
New nail growth may appear gradually. Provider follow-up may help determine whether to continue, adjust, or reconsider the treatment approach when clinically appropriate.
Momentum
Month 5–12
Long-Term Nail Growth
Toenail growth is slow, and visible changes may take several months. Results vary by patient, condition, treatment approach, adherence, and medical eligibility. Follow-up guidance may be provided when clinically appropriate.

Common questions about the process
Who evaluates my case?
A Florida-licensed podiatric provider within JAWS Podiatry reviews your intake form and photos and determines the appropriate treatment recommendation. Prescription treatment is issued only when clinically appropriate.
Is this a real medical consultation?
Yes. This is a legitimate telemedicine consultation with a Florida-licensed provider. Prescriptions are issued only when medically appropriate.
What states do you serve?
Fugly Toenails™ telemedicine services are available only to eligible adults who are Florida residents and physically located in the State of Florida at the time of evaluation. Patients outside Florida are not eligible for telemedicine evaluation or prescription treatment through this platform and should consult a licensed provider in their own jurisdiction.
What if I'm not sure I have nail fungus?
That's exactly what the evaluation is for. Not every nail discoloration is fungal. Our physician will assess your case and guide you appropriately.
How long does the evaluation take?
The intake form takes under 5 minutes. Physician review typically occurs within 1–2 business days.
What treatments might be prescribed?
Depending on your case, a Florida-licensed provider may prescribe topical antifungal solutions, oral medications, or a combination approach — including Pulse Therapy protocols — when clinically appropriate.
Is my information private?
Absolutely. All health data is handled under HIPAA-compliant privacy standards.
What if the treatment isn't working?
A provider may review your progress and adjust your plan when clinically appropriate. Follow-up support may be provided when clinically appropriate.
