THE APPROACH
What is a Standard 90-Day Course?
The Standard 90-Day Course is a continuous daily oral antifungal regimen delivered over approximately 12 weeks. It is one of the most widely referenced approaches in the clinical literature for toenail fungal infections and remains an appropriate option for many eligible patients after provider review. The specific medication, daily dose, duration, and monitoring plan are determined by the provider based on the patient's condition, medical history, contraindications, and clinical eligibility.
THE PROTOCOL
How a Standard 90-Day Course may work
Week 1
Getting Started
Initial evaluation and baseline lab testing are completed when applicable (including liver function testing, LFT). If clinically appropriate, medication is dispensed through an authorized pharmacy.
Weeks 1–12
Active Treatment
Oral medication is taken daily as prescribed for the full duration of the course.
Ongoing
Follow-Up Support
Your provider may monitor progress, tolerance, and clinical response, and adjust the approach when clinically indicated.
Post-Course
Nail Growth Monitoring
Because toenails grow slowly, visible improvement may continue to be observed in the months following completion of the 90-day course.
